Product Un-Install
On the Mac a Clean Install which is removing all the BDMO files requires the following files to be removed.
To remove the BDMO from a Mac System - in effect a clean install.
Here are the locations of the files to delete. After deleting them restart your Mac then run the installer again.
Follow these instructions to completely uninstall and reinstall the Bluthner Digital Model One on your Mac OS X computer. All the specific files are in bold.
1 - Uninstalling Bluthner Digital Model One Kontakt Player (see complete instructions below).
Native Instruments OS X installers write files into the following directories (the ~ symbol means your user home directory). To completely uninstall one of our applications, you need to check each of these folders and remove any files containing the program name "Kontakt."
Macintosh HD/Applications (unless otherwise specified at installation time)
- Macintosh HD/Applications/Bluthner Model One
Macintosh HD/Library/Preferences
- Macintosh HD/Library/Preferences/com.native-instruments.Bluthner Model One.plist
Macintosh HD/Users/~/Library/Preferences
- Macintosh HD/Users/~/Library/Preferences/com.native-instruments.Bluthner Model One.plist
Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST
- Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST/KontaktPlayer2_8out.vst
- Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST/KontaktPlayer2_16out.vst
- Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST/KontaktPlayer2.vst
Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components
- Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components/KontaktPlayer2.component
Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Digidesign/Plug-ins
- Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Digidesign/Plug-ins/KontaktPlayer2.dpm
Also delete the following files or folders:
- Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/KConvert Logs
- Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/KConvert Temp
- Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/kconvert.bundle
2 - Run the disk-based installer again - Bluthner Digital Model One (Disk One)
3 - Run the Service Center to authorize it.
4 - Run the installer on the Bluthner Model One Update 1.1
5 - Run the most recent update of KONTAKT
